The Degree Completion Programs are泭designed to educate students in an accelerated and accessible format so they may finish their college degrees. The programs are泭intentionally centered upon the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word.
Degree Completion is built around dynamic and substantive core courses on the Scriptures and theology. The student has the opportunity to study the entire Bible in a rigorous academic setting with instructors committed to a conservative evangelical outlook. The biblical studies courses are complemented by a series of courses on Christian theology, which泭provide instruction on all of the major doctrines of Christianity. Students learn to navigate many theological challenges.
The core biblical and theological studies curriculum provides a basis for serving Christ, while the programs electives provide the next steps in career and/or educational opportunities. Students may also pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in General Studies. This degree includes the core biblical and theological studies curriculum, as well as a substantial number of arts and sciences courses.

Upon completion of the program, the student will:
- Demonstrate improvement between their first and second years in biblical knowledge and Christian theology.
- Develop communication skills in writing and research.
- Demonstrate evidence of godly character through Christian service.
- Develop a bachelors degree-level understanding in biblical and theological studies.
All 91勛圖 students must have professed a faith in Jesus Christ as Savior as evidenced by providing a personal testimony that details this faith. By submitting an application, students acknowledge the Universitys doctrinal position and standards of conduct as outlined in the泭Foundational Statements. 91勛圖 strives to keep tuition costs affordable despite providing a rigorous education. Courses are taught by Cairn faculty and not TAs.泭

Meet Our Faculty

Kevin McFadden
Professor of New Testament, School of Divinity
Kevin McFadden teaches New Testament courses at the undergraduate and graduate level. Before coming to Cairn he studied New Testament Interpretation at Southern Seminary and taught for three years in the Christian Studies department at Louisiana College. He is originally from Michigan.
His main role at Cairn is teaching students how to read Greek in order to better understand and interpret the New Testament. His thoughts about the importance of learning the original languages of the Bible can be read . He is currently working on a book about faith in Pauline theology. He and his wife, Colleen, are members at Trinity Community Church in Abington, PA.

Brian Luther
Professor of Old Testament, School of Divinity
Dr. Brian Luther teaches various Bible classes, including Pentateuch, Old Testament, wisdom literature, and the Gospels.泭 His research interests include ancient Jewish and Christian biblical interpretation, as well as interpreting and applying biblical narrative today.
Before pursuing biblical studies, Dr. Luther earned his doctorate in electrical engineering.泭 Among more serious pursuits, this background prepared him to coach a high school robotics team, an opportunity that he looks forward to having again someday.

Our program is intentionally grounded in Gods Word. Courses are thoughtfully designed by Cairn faculty to promote deep learning and active engagement through instructor-led instruction, research-driven activities, active learning, and meaningful interactions with peers and faculty.泭At Cairn, the students education and experience is designed to shape泭Christian character, cultivate wisdom, and prepare them to think, live, and serve biblically in an ever-changing world.
All courses, except the research courses, are structured in seven units and delivered in accelerated 7-week terms.
Each unit contains 57 modular activities, including:
- Assigned readings and reading reflections
- Instructional videos from Cairn faculty
- Active learning activities
- Weekly application projects
- A component of the ongoing course research project
Faculty also schedule a few optional Zoom sessions throughout the term to connect with students and address questions.
Faculty are actively involved throughout the weekguiding learning activities, leading asynchronous discussions, grading work, and delivering personalized feedback. Online students also receive priority technical support and have access to valuable resources from the Masland Library and the Writing Lab.
Cairn is approved to offer financial aid because of its regional accreditation. There are many options available and typically students qualify for at least one type of federal aid. Many students receive scholarships and grants that make earning their degree even more affordable. Cairn offers a variety of scholarships and discounts in addition to options for loans and grants.
