Kevin W. McFadden has been teaching at Cairn since 2013. He studied New Testament Interpretation at Southern Seminary under the supervision of Thomas R. Schreiner. He is a member of the Evangelical Theological Society and the Society of Biblical Literature.

His academic work has focused on Paul鈥檚 letters and theology (see below for links to his publications). He is currently working on the use of the Old Testament in Paul鈥檚 letter to the Romans for a forthcoming reference volume. He is also co-editing a series of books about how the New Testament authors teach us to read the Bible.

At Cairn, he teaches courses in the core curriculum like Gospels as well as electives specific to Divinity School students like Pastoral Epistles. He also teaches Elementary Greek and Greek Exegesis to students in the Master of Divinity program.
